Graduated in clinical and pathological psychology: behavioral and cognitive approach from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut
Yara Abdallah is a trilingual psychologist (Arabic, French, English) specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Drawing on her expertise in CBT, she offers evidence-based techniques and strategies that empower individuals to identify and modify their dysfunctional thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to alleviate their suffering. Through a collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach, she aims to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where individuals can explore their distress, develop effective coping skills, and achieve their personal goals.
In addition, she is actively involved in research, with a particular focus on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety disorders, as well as their impact on identity and memory. Her research is conducted in collaboration with Saint Joseph University of Beirut in Lebanon and the University of Lille in France.
Through her interest in research, she strives to deepen her understanding of human complexity and continually integrate the latest discoveries into her therapeutic practice.
