MA in Clinical and Pathological Psychology — Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ)

Adel Reda is a trilingual (Arabic, French, English) clinical psychologist whose practice is rooted in a psychodynamic approach. He is particularly interested in unconscious processes, early relationships, and emotional regulation. He works with adolescents and adults to foster self-understanding, improve their interpersonal skills, and develop psychological resilience.

Drawing on his clinical experience at the Psychological Care Center (USJ) and his research on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in Lebanese mothers, he explores the links between trauma, attachment, and parenthood. Adel also conducts psychological assessments and provides support and psychological first aid interventions to people affected by war and displacement.

Her approach, based on empathetic listening and a deep understanding of the human being, aims to foster a safe therapeutic space conducive to growth and psychological reintegration.

A phrase that can summarize his practice: “Understanding in order to rebuild.”
